INSTALLATION
For ease of installation Midas S2 has been designed to allow the installation of the mounting
bracket assembly and main module separately from the other parts of the detector. The
detector location and hard wiring can therefore be completed before fitting the detector's main
module and sensor cartridge.
Midas S2 is designed for installation and use in indoor safe areas and non-
explosive atmospheres. Installation must follow the recognized standards of the
appropriate authority in the country concerned. Before installing, ensure local
regulations and site procedures are followed.
Ensure the connection of all modules (e,g pump and cartridge module) with the
main module. Otherwise, Midas S2 can have flow leakage or malfunction.

intérieures et des atmosphères non explosives. L'installation doit suivre les
normes reconnues par l'autorité compétente du pays concerné. Avant
l'installation, assurez-vous que les réglementations locales et les procédures du
