What Appears on the Display
Counter mode
Description

The remaining time on the tape is

indicated in minutes/seconds. This

makes it possible to check how much
time is left on the tape during tape
editing operations.
Use this display only as a general
guideline since there may be a slight

MODE-
The time information is not displayed if the track number or
absolute time has not been written properly such as when
recording or playback was commenced from a point midway
along the tape. When an analog cassette tape is used, only
the tape counter count will appear.
Text information display
The text information can be recalled when a
prerecorded DCC music tape bought from a music
store is played back.
Selecting the text information
Each time this button is
pressed, the text
information to be
displayed is selected in
the sequence given on the
next page.

Only bars will appear.
"Text information" refers to the title of the album, name of
the artist, titles of the tracks, total number of tracks on the
tape and total play time which are recorded on prerecorded
DCC music tapes, and it is this information which is
displayed.
"READING" appears while the information is being retrieved
from the tape, and the text information is displayed after this.
