Speakers

Description
Speaker Kit (includes left and right speakers and cables)
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the keyboard/top cover (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

Remove the speakers:
1.
Release the speaker cables from the retention clips (1) built into the base enclosure.
2.
Remove the four Phillips PM2.0×5.8 shoulder screws (2) that secure the speakers to the base enclosure.
3.
Remove the speakers (3).
NOTE:

Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
