LDR Tono 8/22, 18/36 and 30/55 Plus User’s Manual – 2.0 MOUNTING / REPLACING THE IRIS DIAPHRAGM – A20100707 not supplied An iris diaphragm, available as separate accessory under part #A20100707, and featuring 20 leaves, allows to size the beam from a maximum aperture of 68mm/2.67in to a minimum of 5mm/0.19in. In order to fit or replace the iris diaphragm please: Using a Phillips screw‐driver remove the two cross‐head screws from the sides of the iris plate. Slide the diaphragm in the gate area – bent metal wings must look to the lamp‐house Tighten the screws. MOUNTING / REPLACING THE GOBO‐HOLDER – not supplied Tono profile spots can be fitted with a gobo holder – not supplied in standard delivery but obtainable as a separate accessory, for the projection of: A‐or B‐size metal gobos part # A20100807 A‐size glass gobo part # A20100807/A B‐size glass gobo part # A20100807/B The gobo holder must be inserted in the gate area instead of the iris diaphragm. LDR Tono 8/22, 18/36 and 30/55 Plus User’s Manual – 2.0 As the stirrup does not rotate around the lamp‐house, in case you need to mount the luminaire on a stand or bracket you will have to remove the stirrup from its original position and re‐mount it on the sets of holes (2x on each side) positioned on the rear lower profiles of the lens‐tube, as follows. Position the Nota on a solid and stable work‐bench With the aid of a M5 cross‐head screw‐driver slacken and remove all the 4 screws holding the stirrup to the lens‐tube Lift the stirrup and re‐position the screws Remove the 4x M5 screws from the lower sets of holes Position the stirrup on the 4x holes, making sure its bend looks to the front of the luminaire Strongly tighten the 4 screws If not supplied choose a suitable clamp or spigot and make sure it is correctly fixed and strongly tightened to the stirrup according to the clamp’s / spigot manufacturer’s instructions If not supplied choose a suitable safety cable or bond. Clamp it to the eyelet provided on the upper rear part of the luminaire (see picture here below), run it twice around the stirrup and the structure the luminaire is hung to so as to bond them together and close the loop. When tilting the unit make sure the knob blocking the stirrup is strongly tightened at any time and that the luminaire can hold the desired tilt angle WIRING Before being connected to the mains power, this unit may need to be wired with a suitable plug if not already installed. Make sure the plug you are using is rated for the product’s power load and it conforms to the electrical standards of the country where the unit is being used. ... -

Beam‐sizing: an accessory iris diaphragm, part # A20100707 can be purchased separately and used to size the beam of the TONO. See relevant chapter in this manual Tilt control: The stirrup is factory‐balanced and fitted with a positive friction clamp controlled by a user‐friendly, effective lever‐knob. Turn the lever anticlockwise to release it, position the profile at the desired tilt angle and turn the lever clockwise to hold the desired position. Press the button at the top of the lever and keep it pressed while turning the lever if you need to change its position. Make sure the lever is strongly tightened at any time during operation CONNECT TO THE POWER SUPPLY Connect the unit to a continuous mains power source Make sure the power supply is protected by a suitable thermal magnetic circuit breaker This fixture must be grounded CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE To ensure maximum performance of the product, a regular maintenance service should be carried out. Please make sure the product is cold and disconnected from power supply when doing this. General maintenance Clean all reflective parts such as lenses opening the product, if necessary. Check the lenses and replace any visibly damaged component. Clean air ducts and fans in order to allow a proper ventilation activity on the product. LDR Tono 8/22, 18/36 and 30/55 Plus User’s Manual – 2.0 INSTALLAZIONE O SOSTITUZIONE DELLA LAMPADA Oltre a quanto qui sotto indicato vi preghiamo di fare riferimento alle istruzioni ed indicazioni del produttore riportate all’interno della confezione della lampada che avete scelto. assicuratevi che il prodotto sia freddo e scollegato dall’alimentazione in caso di sostituzione utilizzate un’adeguata protezione termica per le mani (es. guanti) nel caso in cui la lampada fosse ancora calda proteggete la lampada da eventuali lesioni o graffi. Non installate o usate lampade incrinate o rotte. Nel caso in cui la lampada si incrini o si rompa, scollegate l’apparecchiatura dall’alimentazione, fate raffreddare e sostituite la lampada non toccate la superficie in vetro della lampada a mani nude. Non è infatti possibile utilizzare contemporaneamente entrambi gli accessori. Per montare o sostituire il porta‐gobo: Estraete il diaframma, se montato (vedere sopra). Inserite il porta‐gobo nell’alloggiamento centrale – le due ali metalliche devono essere rivolte verso il gruppo‐lampada. Verificate che il porta‐gobo sia posizionato correttamente, facendo pressione sull’impugnatura dell’asta, se necessario ATTENZIONE: La superficie metallica del porta‐gobo raggiunge temperature alte durante l’utilizzo. Attendete sempre che l’apparecchiatura sia fredda prima di rimuoverlo, indossate guanti ed evitate il contatto diretto della pelle con le superfici metalliche. I Nota sagomatori possono essere utilizzati a 100V/120V e 220V/240V e di conseguenza deve essere scelta una lampada adatta. OPERAZIONE MECCANICHE Installazione: il prodotto viene fornito con la forcella montata di serie per l’installazione in sospensione, mediante l’utilizzo di un gancio a C o prodotto analogo. In caso di installazione in appoggio su uno stativo od altro supporto, vedere le istruzioni sopra. ATTENZIONE: il posizionamento del sagomatore deve prevedere un’adeguata ventilazione della lampada. Per la distanza minima da superfici infiammabili ed illuminate, vedete il paragrafo RISCHIO INCENDIO di questo manuale o l’etichetta del prodotto. Controllo zoom: la gamma Tono è disponibile in 3 modelli con angolo di fascio variabile, 8°/22°, 18°/36° e 30°/55°. Il controllo dello zoom viene garantito da duel ergonomici volantini posizionati sul lato destroy anteriore del sagomatore. Il fascio viene modificato regolando la posizione della lente anteriore in relazione a quella posteriore.
