8.5.1 General information

8.5.2 After the first 25 operating hours

Maintenance – Running-in instructions
When commissioning new machines, the running-in instructions
listed in this chapter must be carried out after the specified oper-
ating hours.
The maintenance work listed must be carried out in addition to the
regular maintenance intervals.
NOTICE!
Danger of engine damage!
Up to approx. 250 operating hours check the
engine oil level twice every day.
Depending on the load the engine is subjected to,
the oil consumption will drop to the normal level
after approx. 100 to 250 operating hours.
1.
Change the engine oil
oil and cleaning the oil filter' on page 84.
2.
Check the valve clearance, adjust if necessary

3.
Check engine and machine for leaks.
4.
Retighten the fastening screws on air filter, exhaust and other
attachment parts.
5.
Retighten the bolted connections on the machine.
6.
Check the V-belt
on page 98.
7.
Check the oil level in the exciter shaft housing
