Alarm Settings

You can configure the external alarm and motion detection.
If you connect a sensor or other device to the alarm input terminal (➝ page 80), an alarm
will notify you when the sensor detects anything out of the ordinary. For example, if you
connect a sensor attached to a door, an alarm can notify you when the door is opened
or closed. If you set the function of the "Motion Detect" to "Enable", an alarm will notify you
when a change is detected.
Furthermore, you can configure the EXT Control. When selecting the EXT Control, you
can control when to start recording from the external area. Likewise, connect a device to
the alarm input terminal when the EXT Control is used.
Click "Configuration" on the left side of the "Camera
Window" screen.
• The Configuration menu appears on the left side of the screen.
Click "Alarm" on the left side of the screen.
• The Alarm setting screen appears on the right side of the display.
