INCLUDED ACCESSORIES

For included accessories of your machine, refer to the additional sheet "Included Accessories".

SETTING UP THE MACHINE

The procedures for setting up the machine are described below. If the machine is not set up correctly, it may shake or
produce loud noises and the embroidery will not be performed correctly. An optional embroidery stand is also available.

Setup and transporting precautions

• The transporting or setting up of the machine should be performed by two people. When transporting the
machine, be sure to have two people lift the machine from the bottom at the indicated slots (1). Lifting
the machine from any other area may damage the machine or result in the machine falling, which could
cause injuries.
• Do not plug in the power supply cord until setup of the machine is completed, otherwise injuries may
result if the "Start/Stop" button is accidentally pressed and the machine starts embroidering.
• When lubricating the machine, wear protective eyeglasses and gloves to prevent the oil or grease from
getting into your eyes or on your skin. Do not put the oil or grease into your mouth. Keep the oil and
grease out of the reach of children.
• In order to prevent malfunctions or damage, do not set up the machine in a location exposed to the
following conditions.
- Liquids, such as water
- Extreme dust
- Direct sunlight
- Extremely high or extremely low temperatures. The operating environment should be between 5 °C (40
°F) and 40 °C (104°F).
- Insufficient space (page 13)
- Objects within the moving range of the embroidery frame
- Blocked ventilation slots at the back and on the rear underside of the machine
- An unstable surface
