4.1 STARTING YOUR GENERATOR
NOTE
Ensure all connected appliances are turned off.
Return the starter grip slowly by hand, do not let it snap back.

Recoil Start
1.
Open the fuel valve by turning the fuel knob to the OPEN position.
2.
Turn the power switch to the ON position.
3.
Pull the choke knob out to the START position.
4.
Pull the starter slowly until you feel it engage then pull quickly. Repeat until
the generator starts.
5.
When the engine warms up push the choke fully in to the RUN position.
The choke is used to provide the proper air-fuel mixture when the engine is
cold.
