Product description 3 Product description 3.1 Function The use of sealing gas serves to protect the vacuum pump in dusty processes or with excessive gas throughputs. Sealing gas prevents the ingress of damaging substances into the motor and bearing area. The integrated sealing gas throttle of the turbopump determines the flow rate. Fig. -
