Before first use
Packaging material
Remove all packaging material from
the inside of the appliance.
Removing the protective film
The stainless steel strips on the door
shelves and adjustable shelves have a
layer of protective film to prevent dam-
age during transportation. The machine
doors, and side panels where applica-
ble, have a layer of protective film too.
Do not remove the protective film un-
til the machine has been installed in
its final location.
Cleaning the refrigerator
Please refer to the relevant instruc-
tions in "Cleaning and care".
Important! Each time it is used, the
Miele stainless steel conditioning
agent forms a water-repellant and dirt-
repellant protective coating.
Treat the stainless steel strips and
stainless steel frame inside the ma-
chine with the Miele stainless steel
conditioning agent immediately after
removing the protective film (see
"Product description – Optional ac-
cessories").
Clean the inside of the appliance and
the accessories.
