Attaching the Nozzle
(See Figure 3.)
• Remove the three plasticwing nuts from the
front of the chipper-shreddervacuum.
• Place the nozzle over the three weld studs.
• Secure with the plasticwing nuts just removed.

NOTE: The metal tab in the nozzle must depress the
safety switch on the frontof the chipper-shredder
vacuum or the engine willnot start. See Figure 4.

Attaching the Chipper Chute
Loosen, but do NOT remove, the two hex bolts.
flat washers, and flange nuts which are secured
to the support bracket. See Figure 5.

• Remove the two flange nuts, hex bolts and
saddle washers which secure the right side of
the upper handle to the rightside of the lower
handle. See Figure 6.
• Next, remove the three hex nuts and bell
washers from the weld studs found beside the
opening on the rightside of the chipper-shredder
vacuum. See Figure 6.
