● Before using the recovery machine, ensure it is in good working condition, properly
maintained and electrical components are sealed to prevent ignition in case of a
refrigerant release.
● If you have any doubts, consult the manufacturer.
● Return the recovered refrigerant to the refrigerant supplier in the appropriate cylinder.
A Waste Transfer Note should be arranged accordingly.
● Never mix refrigerants in recovery units or cylinders.
● To remove compressors or compressor oils, ensure they have been properly
evacuated to remove any remaining flammable refrigerant from the lubricant. This
should be done before returning the compressor to the supplier.
● When draining oil from a system, it must be done safely and following proper
procedures.
