Front Panel Removal 1. Open the left side of the machine and locate the small phillip’s head screw that is holding the front panel to the casting. Just loosen this screw. 2. At the upper right hand side of the front panel there is a phillip’s head screw that needs to be loosened.

5. Use a small flat head screwdriver and place it between the rear panel and the casting and push down to release the clip that is holding the front panel. Gently place your hand on top of the front panel and start to pull away from the machine while being careful of other clips.

‘A’ board to the front panel. Return this board back to Elna USA Discard this cable 3. Unplug all wires connected to the A board. Remove the ‘A’ board and the power supply cable. You must use the power supply cable that comes with the new A board.
‘K’ Board Removal 1. Peel back the protective tape holding the wires to the ‘K’ board. 2. Gently remove the flexible cable that connects the touch panel to the ‘K’ board. Follow that by also removing the 3 wires on the left-side of the board.

4. Gently pull the jog dial and cap straight up, discard the old dial and cap. 5. Install the new dial and cap, then line the unit up and place it back onto the ‘K’ board. 6. Plug back the flexible cable and reattach the protective tape.

A-Board Replacement 1. Remove and discard the old cord guide plate. Install the new plate, do not tighten the screw yet. 2. A-Board Replacement 1. Align the ‘A’ board and slide the cables thru the opening space on the lower supporter plate. 2. While holding the A board, start connecting the cables, start with the small white and brown connectors.

A-Board Replacement 1. Align the ‘A’ board and tighten the 2 phillip’s head screws on the front, and tighten the screw on the side towards the top. Remove the clear tape.

A-Board Replacement 1. Gently peel back the bottom part of the sticky tape and lift the insulating paper. 2. Connect the three cables, see the picture. 3. Put back the insulating paper and reattach the sticky tape.

1. Align the front cover with the machine and plug the wires in the correct spots. 2. Tighten the screw on the upper right-hand side. 3. Tighten the screw on the left- hand side.

4. Lay the machine down on it’s back and tighten the two screws. 5. Place the machine on the upright position, insert the power cord and turn the machine on to make sure all wires and cables are connected and main page displays on the screen.

Screen Calibration 1. To access the screen calibration (TTP Coordinate), hold down the needle up/down and lock stitch buttons at the same time and turn the machine on. The first thing to appear on the screen will read “Factory Adjust”. 2.
