CLEANING
Before cleaning the steam iron ensure it is unplugged from the power supply and has completely cooled down.
•
Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
•
SELF-CLEAN SYSTEM
The self-cleaning feature cleans inside the soleplate, removing impurities. We recommend using it every 10-15 days.
•
Set the steam control turning knob to position O (no steam)
•
Fill the water tank to the maximum level.
•
Set the temperature control dial to MAX and wait for the pilot light to turn off.
•
Unplug your iron and hold it over a sink with the soleplate facing downwards when the temperature reached max.
•
Dial and hold the steam control dial to self clean position. Hot water and steam will be ejected from the holes in the soleplate along with any impurities.
•
Release the steam control dial after one minute or when the water tank is empty.
•
When the soleplate has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
•
STORAGE
Unplug the steam iron from the power supply and allow cooling down completely.
•
Empty the water tank after each use, and then wrap the cord around the heel rest.
•
To protect the soleplate, place the steam iron in an upright position on its heel rest.
