R. Replacing the Motor
CAUTION: Unplug the vacuum cleaner before servicing
1. Remove the two scews holding the nozzle cover and remove the cover (Fig. A.)
2. Remove the inlet cover as shown in Fig. B (3 screws.)
2. Remove the two screws holding motor in place. (Fig. C)
3. Clip the zip tie from the motor wires and disconnect all wires. Squeeze the wire crimp nuts with pliers
to loosen them. (Fig D.)
4. Secure the new motor with the two motor screws (Fig. C) and rewire using new crimp nuts or twist
nuts (see wiring diagrams, page 35.) Make sure wires are secured and there are no loose or exposed
wires.
5. Reassemble the vacuum.
