To factory reset the NordicTrack S50 treadmill:

1. Locate the small reset opening on the back edge of the console.
2. Insert a bent paper clip into the opening and press and hold the reset button inside.
3. While holding the reset button, have a second person turn the power switch to the ON position.
4. Continue holding the reset button until the console turns on.
5. When the reset is complete, the console will turn off and then back on.
6. If it does not restart, turn the treadmill off and then on again using the power switch.
