CHAPTER 7– SERVICE AND REPAIR

Cover Replacement

Removal:
1. Using a 10mm HEX driver remove all the cover bolts and open the MultiLoad III/RCU III EX
Hardware.
2. Remove the tie wraps securing the display cable to base.
3. Disconnect the Display Cable from the main board by pressing the tab to release.
4. Using a #2 Philps screwdriver disconnect the Ground wire at the cover.
5. Disconnect the keypad cable at the barrier by pressing the tab to release.
6. Close the cover and reinsall the upper right hand bolt tightening enough to hold the cover
in place.
7. Using a 5/32 inch HEX driver remove the two top hinge knuckle screws and the top hinge
knuckle from the cover.
8. With your hand supporting the cover remove the upper right cover bolt.
heavy use two hands to lift it free
9. Gently lift the cover off the bottom hinge.
Installation:
1. Reverse removal procedure to reinstall cover.
