Starting Operation.

Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of
the power source must correspond with the
data on the type plate of the battery charger.

Charging procedure.

The charge procedure begins as soon as the
mains plug of the battery charger is plugged
into the socket outlet and the battery is
inserted into the charging compartment.
Meaning of the indicators.
LED indicator
Green battery charge-control indica-
tor
Continuously lit red temperature
monitoring/error indicator
Flashing red temperature monitor-
ing/error indicator
The intelligent charging process automati-
cally detects the battery's charge condition
and charges it with the optimal charging cur-
rent depending on the battery temperature
and voltage.
This saves the battery and ensures that it is
always fully charged when in the battery
charger.
Meaning
The 5 green LEDs indicate the charge condition of
the battery during and after the charging proce-
dure. A continuously lit LED indicates a battery
capacity of approx. 20 %.
LED condition
– The 5 LEDs light up one after the other.
(< approx. 20 % battery capacity)
– The bottom LED lights up continuously.
(approx. 20 % battery capacity)
– The 2 bottom LEDs light up continuously.
(approx. 40 % battery capacity)
– The 3 bottom LEDs light up continuously.
(approx. 60 % battery capacity)
– The 4 bottom LEDs light up continuously.
(approx. 80 % battery capacity)
– The 5 LEDs light up continuously.
(> approx. 95 % battery capacity)
Note: The charging procedure is only possible if
the temperature of the battery is within the per-
missible charging temperature range, see section
"Technical data".
The continuously lit red indicator indicates that
the temperature of the battery is not within the
allowable charging-temperature range, see section
"Technical data". As soon as the allowable charg-
ing temperature range is reached, the charging
procedure begins.
The flashing red indicator indicates that the battery
or the charger is defective.
