Installation.

Before any work on the battery charger itself, pull the mains plug from the
WARNING
socket outlet.

Wall mounting.

Use mounting material suitable for the wall
type and weight of the charger and the
heaviest battery. If the battery charger is
installed without using the proper mounting
material, the product may become unstable
and cause property damage or personal
injury.
Do not mount the battery charger at a loca-
tion on the wall where the weight of the
charger and battery cannot be supported. If
the strength of the wall mount is not suffi-
cient to support the charger and battery, the
charger may drop and cause injury.
Make sure that there are no hidden live
wires, water or gas pipes behind the mount-
ing area. Cutting or drilling into such lines
can result in serious injury or death.
Do not mount the charger the wrong way
around or upside down. Improper mounting
may result in property damage or personal
injury.
The charger can be mounted to a wall using
wall mounts.
a) Find a suitable mounting location on the
wall.
b) Mark two points on a vertical line with a
clearance of 3-25/64" (86 mm) apart.
c) Select the appropriate screws and dow-
els (if necessary) for the wall material.
(Mounting material is not included in
delivery scope.)
d) Drill into the wall using a suitable drill bit.
If dowels are to be used, follow the
dowel manufacturer's instructions.
e) Screw two round-head screws (not
included in delivery scope) with a diam-
eter of 13/64" (5 mm) to a maximum of
1/4" (6.5 mm) into the wall or dowels.
Leave an approx. 1/8" (3.3 mm) gap
between the bottom of the screw head
and the wall.
f) Position the wall mounting slots of the
charger facing against the fastening
screws. Push the charger against the wall
and slide it down to secure the charger
to the fastening screws, ensuring the
slots have engaged the screw heads.
Note: Make sure that the charger is securely
mounted and seated firmly against the wall.
Adjust the screws as required to ensure that
the charger faces flat against the wall.
