- Page 2 Description The HLXPLCONTROL is a replacement touchscreen Controller for the OmniPL pool automation control. Before you Begin Before you replace the existing Controller, backup the configuration settings as described in this manual. If the OmniPL is not backed up before replacing the Controller, you'll have to reconfigure the OmniPL to manage your pool equipment.
- Page 3 Unfasten the existing Controller from its mounting surface. If the Controller is connected to the home's access point via Ethernet, remove the connection. Reverse steps 1-3 to install the new Controller. Then proceed to restoring the saved backup.
