    4 Operation Operation Switching the appliance on ▸ Plug in the appliance at the mains socket. – «OF» appears on the left- and right-hand side of the display for 30 seconds. ▸ Hold the button depressed for 3 seconds. – The appliance is switched on. A newly installed appliance takes around 13 hours (empty state / without any food inside) to reach normal operating temperatures.

    5 Appliance functions Description of functions MonoFridge In the MonoFridge mode, the freezer compartment is operated as a second refrigerator compartment with a setting range of 2–14 °C. Prior to activating the MonoFridge, relocate food and food items that by changing the op- erating mode can be spoiled through freezing or defrosting.

Although the appliance is noise-optimized, some noise cannot be eliminated completely. This noise depends on the size of the appliance, how it is installed and the cooling requirements (e.g. fast cool- ing), the ambient temperature and the installation conditions.
