11. Adjustment of carburettor

The carburettor is adjusted from the side of the factory - but may demand readjustment.
Adjustment of the carburettor shall always be carried out with mounted and lubricated bar
and chain, clean air- and fuel filter and the correct fuel mixture.
1) Stop the engine
2) Tighten L (1) and H (2) screws completely in clockwise
direction
3) Thereafter turn these the following rounds anticlockwise
L screw = 1¼ turn
H screw = 1¾ turn
4) Start the engine, and let it warm up by half throttle.
Hereinafter let it run without applying throttle.
5) Turn the L screw slowly clockwise and find the position with max revolutions.
Hereinafter turn the screw ¼ turn back anticlockwise
6) Tighten the idling screw T (3) clockwise, until the chain starts to move.
Hereinafter the screw is loosened slowly until the chain stops
7) Carry out a test sawing and adjust the H screw to the best performance ( not highest
revolutions)
If any doubts - always let your dealer carry out adjustment of the engine!

12. Fuel filter

1) Remove the cover of the fuel tank
2) Drain all fuel from the tank
3) Form a hook out of a piece of steel wire.
4) Grab hold of the fuel filter (4) in the tank with the hook
5) Clean the filter with gasoline or replace if necessary
6) Put the filter / hose back in the tank, draw attention to
it being placed correct in the bottom of the tank
7) Fill with fuel again
Never use the machine without fuel filter. It can damage
the inner parts of the machine and shorten the life of the engine
It is important that the air intake by the starting cord and the cooling fins of the cylinder are
free of heap ups of sawdust and dirt.
Accumulations reduce the cooling of the engine and can cause damage of the engine as
well as other important parts (ignition coil, oil pump etc) due to over upheating
