Use of wrong tools can damage your chain saw
The chain brake is mounted in order to protect against "throws", which are quick

upwards going movements of the bar. These may appear if the bar tip hits a foreign
object. Therefore it is important you are aware of how the chain brake works

Keep a firm grip of the chain saw with both hands on the handle and have it close to
you in order to keep control

Let the engine body lye against the tree while sawing
Avoid sawing with the bar tip and make sure the saw tip doesn't hit anything while

sawing
Don't work with the chain saw above shoulder height

Follow the manual for filing and maintenance

Don't start the chain saw without having the bar and chain assembled, as the en-

gine can move to a higher number of revolutions than the clutch and chain brake
has been calculated for. This can cause damage on machine and user
