6. FLOW RATE/PRESSURE DROP CHARACTERISTICS

These models are fitted with a balancing valve (figure 5). This device is used to balance the flow of water circulating in the
single module in case of non-optimal distribution in the inlet pipes.
Figure 5 shows the Water Flow Rate-Pressure Drop curves with balancing valve in different knob position. The curve "A"
represents the valve fully closed. The curve "E" represents the valve fully opened. The curves "B-C-D" represent the in-
termediate positions of the valve opening.
