Timer comes to an end. The radio sends emergency
message to units within the same Talkgroup. If GPS is
enabled, the radio sends GPS coordinates to dispatcher.

Exiting Impact Detected Condition

If there is false alarm or you do not want to enter into
Emergency mode, you can exit the Impact Detected
condition and prevent emergency from going off with the
following operation.
Perform one of the following actions:
Press the preprogrammed Clear button to exit.
Press the Menu Select button below Clr to exit.

Re-Initiating Impact Detection Sequence

Radio must first exit Emergency mode to re-initiate the
Impact Detected sequence.
Radio must return to the normal operations before the next
impact can be detected. Refer to
Condition on page 110
to exit the Impact Detected
condition.

Automatic Registration Service
(ARS)
This feature provides an automated data application
registration for the radio. When you turn on the radio, the
device automatically registers with the server. Data
applications within the fixed network determine the
presence of a device on the system and send data to the
device.
The ARS for the radio consists of two modes:
ARS Server Mode (default mode)
ARS Non-server Mode

Selecting or Changing the ARS Mode

The following methods are options on how to select or
change the ARS Mode. The result of all the methods is the
same. You can use the options interchangeably depending
on your preference and the programmed functions.
