27. Trimmer

1. Operating the trimmer
1) In the case of actuating the trimmer, lower re-
lease lever ❶ that is mounted on the machine
head.
Then, the trimmer comes down and simultane-
ously is driven.
2) In the case of stopping the trimmer, lift release
lever ❶. Then, the trimmer goes up and stops.
3) The trimmer should be lifted / lowered after the
sewing machine is stopped.
2. Installing the trimmer
1) In the case of installing the trimmer, adjust the
trimmer by moving it up and down so that por-
tion A of the trimmer is positioned below the top
surface of gauge by 0 to 0.5 mm when the knife
is brought to its lower end, as shown in the figure.
2) When you want to replace the trimmer, loosen
two trimmer setscrews ❷ and replace it with a
new one.
