CLEANING THE FILTERS

The baffle filters capture the grease particles
from the air extracted, and are therefore subject
to build up and should be cleaned regularly to
ensure optimal efficiency.
In order to prevent fire hazard, it is recommendable
to clean the filter at a minimum of every two (2)
months by carrying out the following instructions:
1. Remove the filters from the rangehood
and wash them in a solution of water and
neutral liquid detergent, leaving to soak.
2. Rinse thoroughly with warm
water and leave to dry.
The filters may also be washed in the dishwasher
and should be placed vertically so all grease and
by-product is thoroughly washed away.
If the dishwasher method is selected,
the following parameters should be met
in order to achieve sufficient cleaning:
1. The bottom basket is utilised.
2. Filters are placed within the plate holders,
so they sit upright during the wash cycle.
3. Select a heavy-duty wash program with
a water temperature of 65 degrees or more.
