Begin the tank calibration. This procedure results in a level-to-liters or
level-to-gallons table that allows your monitoring platform to be able to convert the
level readings the sensor outputs into liters/gallons displayed in the reports you get
from the platform.
Alternatively, you can save the table in the sensor's memory so that it could
output the readings in liters/gallons already. The internal memory of the TD-500
sensor can store a tank calibration table of 20 lines in total. Normally, the platform's
capacity is a lot higher. TD-150 don't have this feature.
Besides, it is easier to adjust or correct any mistakes in the table if it is
uploaded onto the platform rather than if it is saved in the sensor's memory.
To create such a table, you need to fill the tank step-by-step adding the fuel
into the tank portion-by-portion and recording the level-to-liters(/gallons)
correlation after each portion is added using an Excel file or a piece of paper.
ATTENTION!
SMOOTHING (FILTRATION) IS SET AS 0. IT MUST BE ACTIVATED ONLY AFTER THE
TANK CALIBRATION IS FINISHED.
