This Quick Start Guide
Before You Begin
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you have the following tools:
Common Tools
Phillips screwdriver, related copper and fiber cables, bolts, diagonal pliers, cable ties
Special Tools
Wire stripper, crimping pliers, RJ-45 crimping pliers, punch down tool
Meter
Multimeter, bit error rate tester (BERT)
The listed tools are customer supplied.

Fast blinking (2.5Hz)

Slow blinking (0.4Hz )
Pressed for less than 1s
Reset Button
Pressed for more than 5s Restores all default settings.
Mounting the Access Point
Meaning
Initialization is in progress.
AP is operational and CAPWAP connection is established. No client
is associated.
Ethernet link is down.
Ethernet link is up. No CAPWAP connection is established.
AP is operational and CAPWAP connection is established. At least
one client is associated.
Restarts the device.

- Page 2 You need to buy the RG-AP100-MNT mounting bracket, if you mount the AP on an outlet box compliant with US or EU standards. Powering the Access Point The access point supports two power supply modes. The following examples illustrate how to power on and connect to the access point.
