  • Page 6 Air Lift 1000 10. Pull outward on the knuckle while lowering the jack or jack stand until the spring can be removed (fig. 2 & 3). AWD: pull the half shaft through the knuckle opening and secure aside. THE SPRING IS UNDER EXTREME COMPRESSION. CARE MUST BE TAKEN AT ALL CAUTION TIMES.

    Air Lift 1000 INSTALLING THE AIR LINE A tee air line installation is recommended. If the weight in the vehicle varies from one side to the other and unequal pressures are needed to level the load or compensate for axle torque transfer in racing applications, use dual air lines (see page 6).

    Air Lift 1000 7. Slide the air line clamp over the air line. Push the air line onto the fitting covering all barbs. Using pliers, slide the air line clamp forward until it fully covers the barbed section (fig. 10).
