6.1.5 DSC-60
To start the self-test, press the [3/TEST] key. The results are displayed as below.
If any of the items is NG, turn off DSC-60 and the units connected to the DSC-60, turn
on them again, and then, re-start the self-test. If NG still remains, refer to page 7-6 and
execute "EEROM Clear."
- Main CPU
Indicates version of the main program.
- MODEM
Indicates version of the modem program.
- RCVR1
Checks DSC watch keeping receiver at 18 MHz.
- RCVR2
Checks DSC general watch keeping receiver at 18 MHz
(When RCV board is built in)
- REMOTE RT
Calls the connected transceiver, using MIF command (CAID).
If normal, OK and the connected model designation (FS-1562) are
displayed.
- REMOTE DP
Calls the connected NBDP, using MIF command (CAID).
If normal, OK and the connected model designation (DP-6) are
displayed.
- If MAIN CPU or MODEM is NG, execute "EEROM Clear." (Refer to page 7-6.)
- If REMOTE RT, or REMOTE DP is NG, communication between DSC-60 and its
connected equipment is faulty. Check DIP switch settings of the DSC-60 (S4#1/2 ON,
#3/4 OFF, S3#1/2 ON, #3/4 OFF), check the connection cable and the connected
equipment, or execute "EEROM Clear." If NG still remains, replace
CONTROL/MODEM board (05P0702).
- RCVR-1, and RCVR-2 check whether the MAIN CPU can detect 18 MHz signal of
5 to 10 dB µV, supplied to the antenna line of the receiver. If the check result is NG,
replace the RCVR board (05P0703).
