[LED type]
The PAPER OUT indicator is lighted.
The buzzer sounds, the PAPER OUT indicator lights up, and the printer is placed offline when operation is
required.
[LCD type]
The error message is displayed with LCD.
The buzzer sounds, display the error name by the LCD displa ｙ , and the printer is placed offline when operation
is required.
Error name
LOAD JAM Jam occurred at the time of load.
EJECT JAM Jam occurred at the time of eject.
LOAD ERROR Skew when the cut sheet was load.
HOPPER EMPTY Paper of the CSF disappeared.
PAPER END The printer has run out of continuous forms.
UNLOAD ERROR The retreat operation of continuous forms was
not able to be completed.
PAPER The retreat operation of continuous forms was
SELECT not able to be completed.
ERR
REMOVE PAPER The cut sheet remains being put on the paper
table.
COVER OPEN The front cover is open.
Notes:
1. The printer cannot be set online until these errors are cleared.
2. The paper end is ignored if setup item PPR-OUT: IGNORE is set.
(3) Fatal alarms
The power shut down by itself.
The printer cannot display the alarm if it detects the following alarms that turn off printer power. Disconnect
components or connectors for related alarms, then check the cause of the alarm.

+40 V over voltage alarm
[LED type]
The PAPER OUT lamp blinks with other lamps.
For a circuit malfunction detected in the printer:
• The printer stops printing immediately.
• The ONLINE indicator turns off.
• All buttons of the control panel are invalid.
