Changing the Oil
Have a container ready to catch the oil and remove the drain plug. We
should incline machine to make sure all the oil could be go out. Once
the oil has been emptied, replace the drain plug making sure that the
washer is in place and wipe clean any spillages.
Refill with SAE30 oil. Do not overfill.
Start the engine and allow it to run briefly. Stop the engine, wait one
minute and check the oil level. Top up if necessary.
Spark Plug
Once the engine has cooled, remove the spark plug. Clean the plug
with a wire brush. Using a feeler gauge, set the gap to 0.75
mm( 0.030"). Refit the spark plug taking care not to over tighten.
Air Filter
Unclip the air filter cover and remove the sponge filter element. To avoid
objects falling into the air intake, replace the air filter cover.
