Changing the fuses of individual power consumers

The fuse box containing the fuses of individual power consumers is located under the seat.
–
Take off protection caps
–
Remove faulty main fuse
Info
A faulty fuse has a burned-out fuse wire
A spare fuse
–
Install a new main fuse.
Fuse (58011109120) (
–
Check that the electrical system is functioning properly.
Tip
Insert a spare fuse so that it is available if needed.
–
Mount the protection caps.
–
Mount the starter relay onto the holder and route the cable.

Finishing work
–
Mount the seat. (
–
Install the air filter box cover. (
Preparatory work
–
Press and hold the switch-off button
idling until the engine stops.

Remove the air filter box cover. (
–
Remove the seat. (
Main work
–
Open fuse box cover
–
Remove faulty fuse.

Fuse 1- 10 A - EFI control unit, lambda sensor, combina-
tion instrument, map select (optional), electronic fuel injec-
tion, diagnostic connector
Fuse 2 - 10 A - high beam, low beam, position light, tail
light, license plate lamp
