CAUTION: Only trained and certified technicians should service this unit. 
ALL WIRING AND PLUMBING MUST CONFORM TO NATIONAL AND LOCAL CODES.

1. Preventative Maintenance

1.1 Preventative Maintenance Procedures

Procedure
Check valve operation (does it dispense properly)
Replace worn or missing parts
Clean valves
Check voltage (22 to 27 VAC with the valve activated)
Check product temperature (less than 40°F)
Check water flow rate (use syrup bypass tube and ratio cup)
Check ratio
Check portion size / top-off
Check for leaks
NOTE: Perform these procedures every six months OR after a service call.

1.2 Cleaning Valve

1. Prepare sanitizer solution in a clean container and fill up a clean spray bottle.
2. Remove the valve nozzles and diffusers. Place them in sanitizer solution. Allow a soaking if needed.
3. Clean them using the valve brush and then soak them again in the
sanitizer solution for a minimum of 2 minutes. (Do not use a wire brush)
4. Spray the sanitizing solution upwards into the underside of valve as
shown at right, ensuring that all surfaces are wetted. Clean the region using
the valve brush. Do not use a wire brush.
5. Spray the sanitizer solution to the underside of the valves again. Allow
valves to air dry.
6. Wipe the valve levers using a sanitizer-soaked towel.
7. Wash hands and reinstall the cleaned and sanitized nozzles and diffusers
onto the valves. 
CAUTION: Do not soak valve components in chlorine (bleach).
