WARNING! Make sure that the
on/off switch is in the OFF
position before connecting
the tool to its power
source. Do not touch the
metal prongs of the plug
while accomplishing this.
To turn the tool on, accomplish the following.
1. Locate the on/off switch (D) on the front of
the tool's base (Fig. 6).
2. To turn the tool on, move the switch
upwards (Fig. 7-1). To turn the tool off, move the switch downwards
(Fig. 7-2).
This tool is equipped with a variable speed
control knob (#11), which is located on the front
of the tool's base next to the on/off switch.
When the knob is fully rotated counterclockwise
(Fig. 8-1) the RPM is 2,000. The speed increases
as you rotate the knob clockwise (Fig. 8-2) to a
maximum of 3,450 RPM.
This tool is equipped with an adjustable lamp
(A) that operates independently from the rest
of the tool (Fig. 9).
