® Disassembly of Base Remove the five (5) casters from the chair base. Grasp the chair base with one hand. Hold base firmly and strike the bottom of the cylinder with a hammer to separate. Use a pipe wrench to unscrew the cylinder from the aluminum column support.

® Disassembly of Base Remove the two steel screws from each of the two (2) seat brackets on the underside of the seat. Remove the shoulder screws which attach seat (at each side) to the chair control. Lift the seat free of back upright swivel.

® Remove Chair Back Remove the two (2) star point screws at each side of chair back. Remove back, cover plates and screws from back upright. Use a large screwdriver to remove the nylon seat brackets. Loosen and remove the shoulder screws to remove the nylon brackets.

® Remove Arms & Back Upright Insert flat-bladed screwdriver in the gap between arm and arm cap to pry the two pieces apart. The arm cap is scrap. To remove the arm spring and detent, loosen the small set screw in rear area of the arm. Loosen shoulder screw from the long, threaded stud.

® SCREWS COVER PLATE Disassemble Chair Control Assembly RUBBER BUMPERS Remove four screws holding the cast aluminum column support to the chair control and slide cover plate up and over the height adjust handle. Remove the column support UNDERCARRIAGE (LH) from the chair control assembly.
