  • Page 2 ® Sled Base Lift up on the back of the arm cap (1a) and insert a flat-bladed screwdriver (1b) then pry off arm caps (1c). Remove flat head screw located under each arm cap with a T25 torx bit. Remove the back assembly with a rubber mallet.
  • Page 3 ® Install the new back assembly with the installation tool (not provided) & a rubber mallet, moving to the right & left side of chair until the back assembly has been fully installed. NOTE: Installation tool can be ordered using part number 892342800.
  • Page 4 ® Conference Raise the chair to its highest height. Insert a small phillips screwdriver into hole on bottom of chair. Push up with the screwdriver while pushing the front of the seat assembly, with your hand, to dislodge the seat assembly. Page 4 of 7 939542805 Rev B...
  • Page 5 ® Remove the seat slides from the control housing and set aside for reinstallation. Remove four (4) screws with T30 torx bit and remove the back assembly. Page 5 of 7 939542805 Rev B...
  • Page 6 ® Install the new back assembly with four (4) screws with T30 torx bit until fully seated. Install the seat slides, that were removed in step 3, onto the control housing. Page 6 of 7 939542805 Rev B...
  • Page 7 ® Make sure the rubber spring assembly has been installed onto the control housing securely. Place seat back into slots on chair and slide forward to engage onto chair. Page 7 of 7 939542805 Rev B...
