Enjoying HDMI input from
other inputs
(HDMI ASSIGN)
You can reassign an HDMI input to another
input.

Press AMP and then press
MENU.
"1-LEVEL SET" appears on the display.

Press control button V/v
repeatedly to select "6-VIDEO
SET".

Press the control button or
control button b to enter the
menu.

Press control button V/v
repeatedly to select
"HDMI ASSIGN".

Press the control button or
control button b to enter the
parameter.

Press control button V/v
repeatedly to select the HDMI
input you want to reassign (for
example, HDMI 1).

control button b to enter your
selection.

Press control button V/v
repeatedly to select the input
you want the HDMI input
selected in step 6 to be
reassigned to (for example,
VIDEO 1).
In this case, select "HDMI 1–VIDEO 1".
When you press VIDEO 1, the image and
the sound from the component connected
to the HDMI 1 jacks will be output. For
details, see "Hooking up components
with HDMI jacks" (page 29). The input
you can reassign to varies for each HDMI
input. For details, see "Assignable inputs
for HDMI input" below.
To return to the previous display
Press control button B.
Note
You can also press HDMI button on the receiver to
select HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. To select other
component input, use INPUT SELECTOR on the
receiver.
