3.1

Quick installation guide

The following procedure should be followed for a complete measuring point installation:
Compact version:
• Perform an Airset. Install the compact version at the measuring point (see chapter
"Mounting CLD 132 compact version").
• Connect the compact version as described in the chapter "Electrical connection".
• Start up the compact version as described in the chapter "Commissioning".
Separate version:
• Mount the transmitter (see chapter "Mounting CLD 132 separate version").
• If you have not yet installed the sensor at the measuring point, perform an Airset and
install the sensor (see the Technical Information of the sensor).
• Connect the sensor to the SmarTec S CLD 132 as described in the chapter "Electrical
connection".
• Connect the transmitter as described in the chapter "Electrical connection".
• Start up the SmarTec S CLD as described in the chapter "Commissioning".
3.1.1 Measuring system
The complete measuring system comprises:
• the SmarTec S CLD 132 transmitter
• the conductivity sensor InduMax H CLS 52 with an integrated temperature sensor and
a fixed cable
or
• the compact version with an integrated conductivity sensor
Optional for the separate version: CLK 5 extension cable, VBM junction box, mounting
kit for pipe installation (see chapter "Accessories")
