Installation CD You need the Intermec TE 2000 installation CD (P/N: 235-104-001) and a license key to install the full version of TE 2000. Without a license key, you can only install the demo version. Insert the installation CD into a Windows PC that you are using to install the TE 2000 application onto your Intermec computers.
Tap (+) to expand the Communications branch, tap (+) to expand the 802.11 Radio branch, then set its options to match your network. If using a controller such as the Intermec G4000, tap (+) to expand the UDP Plus branch, then provide the IP address of the controller.
When you enable the package, computers that connect to the Agent will see the update is available and automatically download and install TE 2000. By default, computers search for an Agent once a day and after a warm-boot is performed. The Avalanche console can also send the package on demand.

The CAB files need to be installed onto your desktop or laptop into the “C:\Program Files\Intermec\TE2000\*computer*” folder for configuration purposes before you can send them to your handheld, mobile, or vehicle mount computers.

CK30s or CK31s. The CK30 and CK31 ship with the Avalanche Enabler already installed. The package is provided along with the CAB files in the TE 2000 distribution. Each time the Avalanche Enabler is activated (typically on a warm-boot), the CK30 or CK31 attempts to connect to the Avalanche Agent.
S Third Party FTP Server Software S SmartSystems (page 11) recommended by Intermec 1 Insert the TE 2000 CD into your desktop or laptop PC and wait for the automatic TE 2000 setup. Entering a Host IP Address You need to set up the TE 2000 application to enter the server IP address of the host computer for communications and you need individual settings for either of these methods. See the TE 2000 Terminal Emulation Programmer’s Guide (P/N: 977-055-008) for additional methods.
CV60 Computer screen. Do the following to choose another emulation mode: 1 At the initialization screen or anywhere in a TE 2000 session, tap twice on the upper-right corner of the display or via the Software Input Panel (onscreen keyboard) tap [Shift], [Mn], then “TE2000 Menus.”...

Installing a TE 2000 AVA Package onto Your Desktop Assuming licenses were purchased when Wavelink Avalanche was installed, do the following to install the TE 2000 application. Note that “XXXX” denotes a computer, such as the CK30. 1 From the desktop, double-click the Wavelink Avalanche Console icon to launch the Avalanche Management Console.
