Before first use
When unpacking the appliance, make sure that
all listed parts are supplied. The swivel casters
still have to be fitted to this appliance (see
"Preparation" point).
Please inform your dealer if there has been any
damage during transportation.

Safety notes
Appropriate use
The appliance is intended for use as a wet and
dry vacuum cleaner in accordance with the
descriptions and safety instructions in these
operating instructions.
Before first use of the machine read these
operating instructions and comply with them.
Use the appliance exclusively
– for non-commercial purposes,
– with accessories and replacement parts
authorised by Kärcher.
General safety notes
Only allow children and adolescents to use the
machine when under supervision.
Never leave the machine unattended if the
master switch is on.
Electrical connection
The voltage shown on the model plate must
concur with that of the electricity mains supply.
Danger of electric shock!
Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
Check the connection lead and mains plug for
damage before each use. Have a damaged
connection lead replaced immediately by an
authorised Customer Service point or by an
electrician.
When using the machine in wet rooms, e.g. in the
bathroom, only connect it to sockets which are
connected in series with a ground fault circuit
interrupter. In case of doubt, consult an
electrician.
