Pretreatment of titanium parts for anodisation

ATTENTION: The Etching Powder is corrosive!
Avoid inhalation, swallowing and the contact with
eyes and skin!
IMPORTANT: Use only when
wearing acid-resistant gloves and
safety goggles with plastic lenses!
Put one tablespoon (included in the scope of
delivery) of Etching Powder (ca. 10 g) into 100 ml
of distilled and demineralised water and stir the
water well, until all powder has dissolved.
ATTENTION: The container must be made out
of plastic.
Fill any container with distilled or demineralised
water. It will be used as washbasin.
Using tweezers, move the part that has to be
anodised back and forth in the Etching Powder
solution for approx. 10 seconds...
