CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE

SAFETY MEASURES WHEN CLEANING THE DEVICE

- Wear respiratory protection, safety goggles and protective gloves when cleaning the device.
- Unplug from mains power!
CAUTION: when designing the device we assumed that all operators have a basic technical
knowledge and all maintenance work can be carried out without problems. Therefore, all cleaning
and maintenance work can be easily carried out without professional help. In case of doubt,
consult Zirkonzahn or the service centers specified in your maintenance contract.
After each use, all components (anode, cathode, cathode plug and tub) have to be neutralised and
cleaned with water.

Disconnect the device from power supply

During any maintenance or cleaning, the Titanium Spectral-Colouring Anodizer must be
disconnected from power supply.

DRY CLEANING OF THE DEVICE

- IMPORTANT: The use of compressed air, water or solvents is prohibited!
- Clean with a dry cloth, a brush and a vacuum cleaner only (visible dusty parts only).
- Do not wet clean or use solvents. Only use a cleaning agent recommended by
Zirkonzahn.
- Do not clean with compressed air, to prevent dust dispersion in the surrounding area.
- Used solutions must be disposed of properly in accordance with country-specific waste disposal
laws.
