• never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make
sure that the cord can not be trapped. Do not wind the
cord around the appliance.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled down
completely before storing it. caution, the stone retains
the heat for quite a while.
• Make sure that there is enough ventilation around the
appliance. Do not place the appliance too close to a
wall.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST TIME USE

• remove all packing materials and carefully clean the stone and the mini pans
before the first use. (See "Cleaning").
• Use a thin layer of vegetable oil in the mini pans and apply a fine layer of salt to
the stone plate. this will prevent sticking and cleaning after use will be easier.
• When using the appliance for the first time a small amount of smoke may be
released from the heating element. this is completely normal and harmless. For
this reason allow the appliance 10 minutes to preheat before using for the first
time in order to burn any possible remaining residues.
• place the unit preferably on a surface that is easy to clean. the surface should also
be heat-resistant. Do not place the appliance on an untreated wooden surface.
• Make sure that there is enough ventilation around the grill.
