Key features of the projector
Congratulations on your purchase of the Digital Projection LIGHTNING 1080p
projector.
Digital Projection International, Texas Instruments' first DLP™ partner and the
original innovator of the 3-chip DLP™ projector, proudly introduces our third-
generation LIGHTNING series — the LIGHTNING 1080p. The 3D series carries
forward all of the benefits of the Professional Series LIGHTNING Chassis -
exceptional RapidRig™ staging and stacking hardware with integrated pitch, roll
and yaw adjustments - while also delivering the enhanced benefits of active 3D
capability, extended color depth and improved lumen maintenance.
The LIGHTNING 1080p harnesses the power of Texas Instruments' new 1920 x
1080 pixel HPO DMD's™. Like its LIGHTNING predecessors, the 1080p is destined
to be the first choice of professionals who stage prestigious events such as the
Grammy® Awards and the Oscars®. With contrast of up to 5000:1 and awe-
