If a workpiece or accessory or even part of the machine tool
itself breaks, parts can be flung off at high speeds .
When operating circular and oscillating sawing machines or
sawing machines with reciprocating saw blades, always wear
impact-resistant eye protection . The degree of necessary protec-
tion must be evaluated separately for each individual task .
Ensure that the workpiece has been securely fixed in place .
Ensure that sparks and metal chips are directed so that they do
not cause any hazards .
Ensure that the saw blade or cutting edge is correctly and firmly
clamped .

Hazards caused by entanglement

There may be a risk of suffocation, scalping and/or cuts if loose
clothing, jewellery, necklaces/scarves (or similar), hair or gloves
are not kept away from the machine and its accessories .

other parts of your body .

condition .

replaced with protective hoods recommended by the machine
manufacturer .
