3.7 Step 5
This step examines the cooling fan as the possible source of the problem.
1. Press the power switch to turn off the power.
2. Reconnect the power supply connector (J2) to the cooling fan.
3. Press the power switch to turn on the power.
Does the power-on light come on and stay on, and is there airflow from the fan?
NO
Replace the cooling fan, then return to Step 5. Refer to "Removing and Replacing the Cooling Fan" in topic 4.5.
YES
Go to Step 6.
