Installing EFI Fiery Mail Port
The E-Mail Service provides a method to print and control the
Sharp AR-C360P remotely. Jobs are sent to the Sharp AR-C360P
in the form of e-mail attachments. You can set up e-mail printing
on Windows computers by adding the EFI Fiery Mail Port software
as a printer port.
To set up the Fiery for e-mail printing, see Chapter 4 of the
Configuration Guide. After Setup has been performed, install the
software from the Utilities CD (CD2) onto your Windows
computer, and then add a port.
Note:
Windows NT 4.0. Procedures for Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003
are similar to those for Windows NT 4.0.
To install the e-mail port monitor on Windows
computers
1. Insert the Utilities CD (CD2) supplied with your Sharp AR-C360P into your
CD drive.
Normally the Installer program should autorun. If it does not,
navigate to the top level directory window of the CD and run
setup.exe.
2. Select Fiery Utilities.
3. Click on Install Fiery Mail Port and follow the on-screen prompts to install
the mail port to your computer.
When installation is complete, you are ready to configure the
connection for the e-mail port monitor.
To configure the connection for EFI Fiery Mail Port
on Windows 98/Me
1. Click Start, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. In the Printers window, right-click the icon for the Fiery printer driver.
