1-30 Installing User Software on a Windows Computer

Before you begin

• Configure the Fiery for SMB printing in Run Setup > Network
Setup > Service Setup > Windows Setup.
SMB printing is referred to as Windows Printing in Setup, on the
Control Panel Map, and on the Configuration page.
To set up SMB printing on Windows 98/Me
1. Run the Sharp LPR utility on the Windows 98 PC.
This utility will have been installed along with the driver if you
installed it from the Drivers CD (CD1). If not, you will first need to
install it from the available utilities on that CD.
2. Choose Permote Print>Add Printer.
Choose the Printer Name of your Sharp AR-C360P from the list of
installed drivers.
3. Enter the Sharp AR-C360P's IP address and any comments you wish to
add.
Note:
If you are not able to locate your Sharp AR-C360P, contact your
network administrator.

You can also locate the printer using the Discover button.
